Warranty Policies

In-Home Installation Warranty Policy

Overview

Handle-Man provides a one-year limited warranty on all products sold and installed through our in-home installation service. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship, including both replacement parts and labor required to correct qualifying issues.

Warranty Coverage

This warranty covers:

  • Defects in the product materials or manufacturing
  • Failures resulting from improper installation completed by Handle-Man technicians
  • Labor costs for repair or replacement of defective parts
  • On-site service calls required to diagnose covered issues

Warranty Conditions

To be eligible for warranty support:

  • The product must have been purchased directly from Handle-Man
  • Installation must have been completed by an authorized Handle-Man technician
  • Claims must be submitted within one (1) year from the installation date
  • Proof of purchase and installation confirmation must be provided
  • The product must have been used as intended under normal residential conditions

Warranty Limitations

This warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by misuse, abuse, accident, or negligence
  • Damage caused by unauthorized repairs or modifications
  • Cosmetic issues that do not affect product function (scratches, discoloration, wear)
  • Damage resulting from environmental conditions (humidity, corrosion, extreme temperatures)
  • Products moved from their original installation location without Handle-Man approval

Exclusions

The following are explicitly excluded:

  • Repairs or replacements required due to improper use
  • Labor or parts for upgrades or non-defect-related adjustments
  • Consumables or wear components
  • Commercial or multi-unit dwelling use unless otherwise specified

Customer Responsibilities

Customers must:

  • Maintain the product in accordance with provided care instructions
  • Report warranty issues immediately upon discovery
  • Provide reasonable access for technicians to inspect or repair the product

Warranty Service Process

  • Contact Handle-Man support
  • Provide order number, installation date, and description of issue
  • A service technician will schedule an on-site visit
  • Repairs/replacements will be completed at no cost if the issue is covered
  • All warranty claims are reviewed and may be approved or denied at Handle-Man's sole discretion

Self-Installation Warranty Policy

Overview

Products purchased through the Handle-Man website for self-installation come with a one-year limited warranty covering replacement of defective parts only. No labor, service calls, or installation support are included under this warranty.

Warranty Coverage

This warranty covers:

  • Defects in materials or workmanship of the product
  • Replacement of defective components shipped to the customer at no charge
  • Technical support for identifying defective parts

Warranty Conditions

To be eligible:

  • Product must have been purchased directly through the Handle-Man website
  • Claim must be made within one (1) year of purchase date
  • Customer must provide proof of purchase
  • Product must have been installed and used according to provided instructions

Warranty Limitations

This warranty does not cover:

  • Labor for removal or reinstallation
  • Tools or supplies needed for installation
  • Damage caused by improper installation or assembly
  • Damage due to misuse, accidents, or unauthorized modifications
  • Cosmetic damage or normal wear and tear

Exclusions

  • Professional labor reimbursement
  • Service calls or technician dispatch
  • Damage from environmental factors or improper use

Customer Responsibilities

Customers must:

  • Install the product correctly according to instructions
  • Maintain the product properly after installation
  • Return defective parts if required (prepaid shipping label provided)

Warranty Service Process

  • Customer contacts Handle-Man support
  • Provide proof of purchase and issue description
  • Handle-Man ships replacement part(s)
  • Customer completes the replacement
  • All warranty claims are reviewed and may be approved or denied at Handle-Man's sole discretion
